Monthly Launch Day - Sat May 22nd 2021

We had a great Launch Day for May at Nunweek Park, with no wind at all and a completely clear sky it was perfect weather for launching! We saw 26 rockets in total launched, including 10 rockets that were built at our free Workshops at Tūranga! Only one rocket managed to be eaten by a tree, with a number of others suffering parachute detachments, thanks mainly to the new

Aerotech Q-Jet Motors we were using which have a significantly higher ejection charge compared to their Estes equivalents. We've put together a video of some of the launches below:
